Ace and I went on our second road trip to Tallahassee, Florida for a 4-day weekend. This time we had a doggone blast exploring a high-paced and noisy environment, patrolling the kids (to my surprise, Ace wanted to patrol them to slow them down after catching them running around in the dining room at the hotel), supervising the booth where I spent time volunteering, and for a thrill-enthusiastically crossing the busiest overpass on I-10.
Since we were in Tallahassee, we visited the historic State Capitol Museum to work on the vintage staircase, took some photos in the House of Representative and Senate chambers, and stopped by Governor's Square Mall to enjoy our thrill rides, escalators. We did it ten times.
Fun Facts about Ace: He was raised by an elementary school principal and he normally patrolled a lot of kids. That's why it brought back his memories and he wanted to do it to make himself happy. One toddler wanted to get near Ace as he sat quietly. I asked a toddler for a high-five to reward the toddler for doing the right thing.
Before heading back home, we stopped by Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park to enjoy the walk and do photo opportunities.
Four short videos to share our work on the vintage staircase and our walk crossing the overpass on 1-10.
